Zap Zone is open and welcoming guests. We are following the Michigan Governor, Gretchen Whitmer’s, executive order and we will be monitoring and enforcing the capacity restrictions currently in place until April 5th, 2020 at 5pm.

If you visit any Zap Zone location and we are at capacity, we apologize and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Zap Zones is open and welcoming guests and we continue to implement preventive measures in line with the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as state and local health agencies. The health and wellness of our guests and employees are our #1 priority.

What we are doing:

  • Sanitation
    • We are sanitizing all surfaces that people touch with increased frequency using disinfectant certified to kill coronaviruses (especially tables, counter/bar tops, kiosks, stalls and surfaces in the bathrooms, menus, all door handles, games, rides, and terminals).
    • We have added extra hand sanitation stations throughout the complex.
  • Hand Washing
    • We continue to emphasize and train employees to follow our strict hand washing policies:
      • washing hands at least every 30 minutes (for at least 20 seconds) with soap and water,
      • washing hands every time after they use the restroom, after touching their face/hair, and before eating, preparing or handling food.
    • We ensure all soap dispensers have soap and paper towels present at all times.
    • We have signage posted in the restrooms to remind guests of frequent and thorough hand washing.
  • Gloves
    • Our employees continue to wear gloves when preparing any ready to eat food and change gloves at least every 15 minutes, or more frequently as needed.
  • Employees exhibiting any signs of sickness are prohibited from working.

What you can do to help:

  • Thoroughly wash/sanitize your hands before your visit, frequently during your visit and before eating.
  • Cough or sneeze into a tissue or your sleeve/arm. Dispose of tissues in a trash can and sanitize your hands afterwards.
  • Avoid shaking hands, hugging, and close contact with others.
  • If you are sick, please stay home.

Thank you for your ongoing support and shared efforts to keep our guests, employees and community safe and healthy

Dear Zap Zone Friends and Family,

Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our guests and staff. While we always strive to maintain the highest standards when it comes to cleaning and maintaining Zap Zone, we’re taking it even further by increasing the frequency of our cleanings.

We are continuing to follow the guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the World Health Organization and are in regular contact with local health officials. Keeping our staff informed and giving them the tools they need to keep themselves and our environment safe is our highest priority.

With all our efforts, and the furthered support of our awesome team, we feel confident that we are doing all we can to provide a safe place for you to visit. Again, we want all our guests to feel comfortable and confident when visiting and enjoying Zap Zone.

We are especially grateful for your continued loyalty and we look forward to seeing you soon.
